With a focus on functional movement patterns and intelligent modification, every session is guided by a healthcare professional and clinical instructor who ensures your program meets your body’s needs and goals. Clinically Accredited Instructor
Alison is a clinically trained, accredited Reformer Pilates instructor through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI), with over 8 years of teaching experience. She is a CORU-registered Occupational Therapist with an extensive clinical background, specialising in hand and upper limb therapy — providing a strong, evidence-based foundation for her teaching.
Originally from the Irish midlands, Alison began her Pilates journey in 2018 and expanded her training and practice while living in Melbourne, Australia. There, she developed a strong focus on the clinical application of Pilates across the Reformer, Pilates Chair, and Trapeze Table, integrating rehabilitation principles with intelligent, functional movement.
Passionate about health through movement and inclusivity within the fitness industry, Alison is dedicated to creating a supportive, welcoming space at Éirigh Pilates — where every body is encouraged to move with confidence, care, and purpose.
Outside the studio, Alison can usually be found outdoors trying (with varying success) to spot red squirrels and badgers, learning the basics of woodworking, or experimenting with creative pursuits such as watercolour painting — with stained glass next on the list. She also has a soft spot for slow cooking and good music, both of which pair nicely with a slower pace of life.
