Our Reformer Pilates classes offer a modern take on the classical method, grounded in evidence-based teaching and intelligent programming. This full-body workout focuses on core strength, postural alignment, flexibility, and controlled movement — all performed on the Reformer machine to add resistance and support.

This is not your typical Pilates class.
Reformer Stretch is a gentle, meditative class designed to help you slow down, release tension, and restore balance in both body and mind. Incorporating a blend of active and passive stretching, this session encourages deep muscle release, improved flexibility, and nervous system regulation — all supported by the Reformer for maximum comfort and effectiveness.
Set in a candlelit studio with soft lighting and calming music, the atmosphere invites you to decompress — whether you're recovering from a high-intensity class or a demanding day. Mindful guidance and breathwork help you tune in, let go, and leave feeling grounded and renewed.
Ideal as a stand-alone session or the perfect complement to your Reformer Pilates practice.
Clinically Trained Instructor
Alison is a clinically trained, accredited reformer Pilates instructor through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) with over 5 years of teaching experience. Originally from the Irish midlands, she has an extensive career as an Occupational Therapist specialising in hand and upper limb therapy, providing a strong clinical foundation. Alison began her mat Pilates journey in 2018 and expanded her training and practice while living in Melbourne, Australia, focusing on clinical reformer equipment.
Passionate about health through movement and inclusivity in the fitness industry, Alison fosters a welcoming space for all at Éirigh Pilates. Outside the studio, she enjoys watercolor painting, partaking in sing-songs, and spending time in nature — all of which inspire her holistic approach to wellbeing.
